Over the years some extensions have been abandoned by their developer (for different reasons) and it would great to keep this features supported in the most recent version of Joomla
Now I propose you to shere here the extensions that have been abandoned and that you may need a lot

I will try to fork the old extensions to make them available again in the latest Joomla version and support it over the coming years.

Here is the process :

• Give the name of the extension with the url of the demo(if still exists). The extension package/files will be needed
• The developer will be contacted if possible, to check that there no plan to continue the support
• I will check the extension with the files, to see if the migration is possible
• The extension will be reworked, tested on the latest Joomla and published

The most asked extension will have a higher priority on other ones
Complex extensions may not pass this test if it requires a very high work on it

Au fil des ans, certaines extensions ont été abandonnées par leur développeur (pour différentes raisons) et il serait bon de garder ces fonctionnalités prises en charge dans la version la plus récente de Joomla
Maintenant je vous propose de détailler ici les extensions qui ont été abandonnées et dont vous avez peut-être beaucoup besoin

Je vais essayer de bifurquer les anciennes extensions pour les rendre à nouveau disponibles dans la dernière version de Joomla et la prendre en charge dans les années à venir.

Voici le processus :

• Donnez le nom de l'extension avec l'url de la démo (si elle existe encore). Le package/les fichiers d'extension seront nécessaires
• Le développeur sera contacté si possible, pour vérifier qu'il n'est pas prévu de continuer le support
• Je vais vérifier l'extension avec les fichiers, pour voir si la migration est possible
• L'extension sera retravaillée, testée sur le dernier Joomla et publiée

L'extension la plus demandée aura une priorité plus élevée sur les autres
Les extensions complexes peuvent ne pas passer ce test si cela nécessite un travail très important dessus

EasyImageCaption
The EasyImageCaption plugin for Joomla generates captions from article images’ title or alt attributes and displays them below (or above) the images. An optional data-copyright attribute can be used to display copyright or license information for the image next to the caption.

I sent email to developer 10 days ago asking him does he plan to upgrade plugin to Joomla 4 but there is no answer yet. On his site there is message:
This Joomla extension is no longer maintained or supported. It still works under Joomla 3.x with PHP 7.x, I can’t say anything about setups beyond that. If you would like to continue work on the plugin, feel free to use the code under the terms of the GNU General Public License. Find a new name for the plugin and keep the original author’s name in the code.

2. Automatic Intro Image

This is really handy as it resizes the intro image automatically for you from the main image.

3. Article Images Upload and Gallery

This is a nice way to add an image slideshow to an article via a new tab in the article options. I've not come across anything else similar.

Admin Forever. It is a plugin that allows your Super Admin to stay logged in "forever". It seems 2 developers had plugins for this, but neither have continued development for Joomla 4. The one I always used has officially closed but the have a github where the initial code is github.com/dex4er/joomla-plugin-admin8 and a different version was offered through Common Ninja, but the link to the JED just goes to an empty page now. www.commoninja.com/discover/joomla/extension/admin-forever

I'm on vacation so I can't test properly but on 6 Joomla 4 sites I can access to my localhost over VPN, on 2 plugin works correctly. On other 4 it doesn't show captions. It is not visible in Chrome Developer Console either on those 4. On sites that shows captions there is inline css set in plugin.
Tried to disable some system and third party plugins, cache, gzip etc. Reordered plugin to first position but no effect.
Same settings for all 6 sites but can't figure out what causes the problem.
I didn't test on Joomla 3 site but it should work because "old" one worked.
