I'm not sure if you'll get a reply from michael Richy for Adminexcile as he seems to have vanished and doesn't respond to messages, and the forum on his website returns 404.
But, I hope you can do something with it as it was a nice way to secure the admin against brute force attacks. I have the latest pro version if you'd like to take a look.

ok but why not using admintools or rsfirewall that are also great solutions to do that ?

Yes, but too many options (bloat). Adminexcile was/is simple to use and only focused on protecting/hiding the admin page and then dealing with an attack in a simple blocking way. The plugin is simple to use, easy to understand and, I think, more suitable for a basic website (955 of the population) that dosen't need or want all the bells and whistles of those bigger programs.

if you want to protect your admin page, then just add a htaccess with htpwd in your admin folder this is the best protection available
