I did some further tests with Chrome and Edge on my PC and on my Galaxy S20 and I got the impression that the "not working locked button" issue only appears when the [accept cookies] option is not yet set.

the mobile menu does not use cookies, so it can not be the cause, it uses sessionStorage
but as you said, I tried it and you are right, your cookies blocker also blocks the sessionStorage variables. These are not cookies and I don't think that they should be blocked
