Accessibility workgroup

Hi,
is there a way for the submenu to open automatically as soon as the menu item is selected with the tabulator?For mouse users, it's rather unusual that my click on the menu item opens a subpage, and clicking on the icon opens the submenu. Is there a way to circumvent this?
