I am engaged in providing accessible web sites myself. I have some issues with being unable to set up maximenu colors.

Hello,
I am trying to create an accessible menu. It's not working perfectly yet.
It's about the submenu.
1. In the module, I activate the JavaScript effects.
2. In menu behavior, set to "on click."
3. For use toggler icon, set to "yes."
With these settings, the menu works quite well. However, when navigating with the keyboard, the toggler (Menu 1) cannot be selected separately. Console message: "Clickable elements must be focusable and should be interactive."
I have tried a second variant. Settings are the same as Variant 1, but set "use toggler icon" to "no." This makes the icon disappear, of course. With this setting, Google warns: "Links cannot be crawled."
<a data-hover="Menu 1" class="maximenuck " href="javascript:void(0)" data-align="top" data-href="/hebebuehne/index.php/menu-1">
Maybe someone has a solution for me. I have been using the menu for years, and it would be great if we could resolve this.
If helpful, here is the link to the test page: dev.studio-n.at/hebebuehne/index.php
Thanks,
Nicole

Hi
you don't need to have the focus on the toggler, when you have the focus on the parent item, you can show the dropdown by using the bottom arrow, or the space bar on your keyboard. The top arrow to go to the parent when you are in the submenu
if you use enter on a parent item, it will redirect the page
