Hi,

I've been having a similar problem (with version 1.9.0_j25) where the menu behaves as expected when everything is linked to k2 items, but when using menu aliases the menu doesn't expand properly.

Any help would be appreciated

I've done some more tests, and now i have only article links..
It seems to work fine now, with article links and #element target" = "links & image"

So I guess the problem is on aliases..

I am sorry to stress you with all my questions ..

I will try to reproduce the issue by my side. Just give me the structure when it does not expand:

- Link 1 : Type ? (alias or article)
-- link 2 : Type ?
-- link 3 : Type ?

In my case:

- Link 1 : alias
-- Link 2 : alias
-- link 3 : alias

and

- Link 1 : k2 item
-- Link 2 : alias
-- link 3 : alias

Does not work. However

- Link 1 : k2 item
-- Link 2 : k2 item
-- link 3 : k2 item

works correctly

I have now tested by my side with
- Link 1 : alias
-- Link 2 : alias
-- link 3 : alias

and it works !
so there is something else in your menu structure that gives this issue, if I don't know what it is I can't test myself ... :(
