How to make menu path expanded for active tread?

Thanks for the quick answer!

The structure is like this:
I have a main menu, which contains all the other menu (for the breadcrumbs and navigation).. the rest of menus are set as aliases to the first one.
Anyway, I tried to put the parent item as an article link, but no change .. more than that, if i click the parent item (linked to article), nothing happens .. it's still acts like a menu separator ..
If you want/can, i can show you live via some remote

I've already did it... that what i am saying .. the menu is linked to an article, but when i click on it, nothing happens.

very strange then !
try this : in the module option choose "element target" = "image only" so the link will not be affected
also try to disable the url rewriting to test

PS : by default the menu should expand the active items
