Hi
thank you for your suggestion
Actually the title is rendered with "$this->error->getMessage()", it means that the Joomla core throws this info
You can not modify it, but you can choose to not load your code in the template "Show the code in the maincontent" = "no", then you can write the entire page from <html> to </html>
and this is already possible in the current version :)

I'm back :)
Actually I have added the same style for all elements (titles, menu, readmore, etc) for the :hover and :focus
this way it is clear that you are on the element.

Is it a correct way to do in your opinion ?
Thanks

Not so much, Ced.
We have three statuses in addition to normal: hover, active and focus. In my opinion we should be able to set a different color for each of them, both for the text and the background. For impaired people (the ones that shift among the links using the Tab key, for example) it should be useful to understand the difference between the active link and the focus one.
In addition to this, I'd like to point out to you what happens to my site Studio Associato Vergani - Biffi .
I set these colors for the menu links:
  • normal: #ffffff (in Template Creator CK)
  • hover: #000000 (in Template Creator CK)
  • active: #ffdd55 (in Maximenu CK Params)
Well, cycling by the Tab key, the menu items never show the active color, even if the item has the focus (using Firefox you can see the link in the bottom-left corner of the window).
It is because they have not be set as active (but they do are) or something in Template Creator or in Maximenu does not work?

Let me say that I know that such fine tuning operations are time-consuming. But I think they will be more and more important in the next future.

Hi
I read, understand and take into consideration what you have written :)
But .. is it possible that there is a confusion between the "active" state, and the "focus" state ?
By my side :
- active = the link to the current page
- hover = on mouse over
- focus = when using tab key to navigation

because you say

cycling by the Tab key, the menu items never show the active color

using the tabs, it will show the focus color, not the active one. The active color is used is the link to the current page is found

Right ?

@micker @claudio : as the accessibility is a large discussion, I have opened a specific thread to discuss about that

forum.joomlack.fr/index.php/12-template-...heme-template-how-to

please join me and list the tasks, so that we can work on this :)
thanks
