OK, Ced: opening this discussion is a good idea.
Tab cycling
My last notice ( here ) makes really a bit confused. I apologize.
So, you said
But no color is showed at all but the normal one.
The point is: can I assign a specific focus color to menu items?
Access key in menu items
I installed the new versions of Maximenu CK and Params and tested the new feature. It works fine.
Great! Thank you.

So, you said
and my expectation was the Tab cycling to show the focus color or the active if the focus is not defined.Actually I have added the same style for all elements (titles, menu, readmore, etc) for the :hover and :focus
this way it is clear that you are on the element.

I have to work on that, but for all other links, it shall work
What I plan is to release the Template Creator CK V4 soon, once done I will be able to work on the accessibility and add it in the next minor versions.
We can continue to work on this here, I will note the specific points to do

Currently, there are only two states involved in links settings: Normal and Hover. You should add at least Focus. I wonder if the Active state had sense for the links...
For each, it should be possible to set not only the Bold, Italic, Underline, Uppercase and Text color attributes, but also the Background color and the Border (type, thikness and color). And maybe the padding as well...
