Yes, I did try out of interest, but it did not like the variable and just returned a black color to the color field.

I have another idea for a new PB addon.

An image compare addon as in :

This one is on github and the code is used in the UP plugin.

It's a Jquery plugin, but I'm sure there are other options out there using vanilla JS.

thank you for the idea but I'm not sure that this is needed into Page Builder CK
I have never used that, never seen it on any website (except demos)
then you can use the UP plugin into Page Builder CK to create this effect, right ?

Yes, it's available in UP. But to me it seems a little overkill to install a huge component (and the overhead that creates) for the sake of something so simple.
