Hide a menu item using Maximenu

Hello,
I have the same problem, but it did not work when I put the suggested css code in the css/maximenuck.php (in a copy of one of the templates). Neither did it work when I put it in my ordinary css file.
What may be the problem?

Hi
the css area related to the menu structure, where "101" is the menu item number
in the latest maximenu version + params, you can use the interface to show/hide any item on desktop/mobile

Hi Ced, loving the plugins, they seem to be working well and the new additions make them easy to work with.
I have System Link Text Separators between each menu item - how can I prevent them from appearing in the mobile menu please? I have tried the 'display none' code you've suggested below in my Template Creator template custom css which removes them from the desktop menu but not the mobile menu.

Hi
if you are using the maximenu params you can use the "menu structure" button to edit the menu items and set the desktop/mobile state to show/hide any item.

Hi, CEd,

Just jumping into this thread. I have the same setup -- TCCK and Maximenu with Params.

I have a menu with dropdowns, but I want just one item in that menu not to have the dropdown. Can I do that in Params, as you mention above?

If not, would it work to put the CSS line you have above into a special class in the template custom css, and then use that class as a menu class suffix in the menu item I want to not drop down? Or in the custom css for the module position that the menu is in?

Thanks,
Matt

Hi
each menu item has a custom class with its ID
using CSS you can target any item like this
li.itemXX
then you just need to find the correct CSS rule to get your result :)
Firebug is a good friend for that
