Xmap showing code from Maximenu was created by d4W
Hi all,
sorry, but it's a bit urgent:
On Joomla! 2.5.17 with a Maximenu 6.2.4 with params plugin and Xmap the Maximenu code ( "||" for example) is seen in the Xmap sitemap. For J! 1.5 there was a plugin to solve this. As I can read in this thread , there is a solution when using the params plugin but it is not written and I cannot find out how this should work. I was looking in the plugin itself and in the styles customization tab and all other tabs off course.
Anybody knows the solution?
Thanks in advance!
Frank

Hi
yes using the plugin params you will not have this problem, because
- you don't write anything in the item title
- you set the options directly in the additional options from the plugin params when editing the link
so if you have the plugin, for example remove [col=180] from the title and set the column creation and width into the "maximenu params" tab

Hi Ced,
thanks for your answer!
I understand. But how do I get rid of that two vertical lines "||" in Xmap?
EDIT: I am using the params plugin.
Greets,
Frank

remove them and the description from the title, use the description field from the plugin params instead

Ahhh... You mean in the single menu entry. I often saw that but I didn't realize it, if you know what I mean.
That's really good, but unfortunately it doesn't solve my problem. We are using the description line as a second line for a long word ("carwashing- centre" for example). The problem now is that the description - or second line - is not shown in the Xmap sitemap anymore.
This is a big problem for us, as you maybe can imagine!
Greets,
Frank
