Problem with layout - submenue behind other MMCK

Problem with layout - submenue behind other MMCK was created by gerhard

Hi,
I have two problems on my website - domain is www.windhund.at

1. If you click on the picture under the word "Ausstellung" it opens a maximenu in vertical position (with red background). And if this menu is open and you click in the navigation above on "ÖKWZR" or "Rennvereine", the submenue is behind the vertical menu.

2. If you go to the picture "Zucht" and click on "Züchter" in the vertical menue there opens the site "Züchter". The template layout is correct in FF and in Chrome. But not in IE. Is it possible, that the layout crashes because I'm using on the page "Züchter" also a few maximenues with dropdown effect? All other pages are OK in IE.

Many thanks for helping
Gerhard

Hi
1/ please check this :
forum.joomlack.fr/index.php/4-maximenu-c...d-vertical-menu#7919

2/ I see that you have put a code

#<?php echo $id; ?> ul.maximenuck li.maximenuck.level1 > a,
#<?php echo $id; ?> ul.maximenuck li.maximenuck.level1 > span.separator {
font-size:14px;
color: #EEEEEE;
display:block;
text-decoration:none;
text-shadow: 1px 1px 1px #000;
min-height : 24px;
outline : none;
background : none;
border : none;
padding : 0;
white-space: normal;
}

directly in the index.php file, but the <?php echo $id; ?> does not work here. It can be the problem, replace it with the menu ID

Hi CEd,

thank you for your response. I changed the code but it's still the same. Could you check my website? Also it's the same with the submenue in the mainmenue. I have seen this in forum.joomlack.fr/index.php/4-maximenu-c...d-vertical-menu#7919 before you wrote me and changed the z-index from the modules but without success.
Have you another idea what could be the problem?

Greetings

for the zindex issue, you don' t have added the "position:relative" like described in the post. Please read it again, you must write "10; position: relative" in the field

Hi CEd,

super, now it is fine with the position: relative.

The only one thing which is always not ok is the layout on this site www.windhund.at/index.php/de/zuechter
This is only to see in IE, in FF and Chrome it is ok.
I've seen, if I delete all maximenuvck's on this site, the site is excellent. Only if I take the site with the maximenues the layout is wrong.

Because as you have many things I can't find it myself...
