I turned off all the style settings that I have messed with. I cannot seem to find instructions on how to do the items? Is there a specific page in the ones I paid to get? I will worry about the modules once I get this fixed.

Thank you very much for your help it is appreciated.

go in the module styles customization >> you will have multiple buttons
click on the level 1 item button, then you will find a background options. This is where you can change it for the first level items.

Which module? the main menu, or the one loading VM items?

Main menu module has the Store, Recipes, Pollen Nation,

VM menu module is just VM as in your guide.

So I edit just the Main Menu Module styling and that will affect the entire structure including the VM module/items

Ok I see now. You would like to set the styles for the VM items only that are loaded in a flatlist maximenu module as submenu ?
as the flatlist has another html code, the general styles won't apply to these items.
