Closing when Menu behavior: On click

it should work now, I don't know why the useragent detection in PHP does not work on your website (due to another extension ? gantry or else ? )
so I have added it in the javascript

I could not test it by myselft (no iPad), but a friend did.

he said, it would work on safari, but:
1. closing menu by klicking outside of my menu does not work
2. by clicking on the menu-link the menu closes, but the browser follows the link

Did you get other results with you iPad?

EDIT: I'm know using the following CSS again, cause without it the problem from 2. ist also on PC

please test with the default theme where you don't have your css pointer modifications

I tested it and after that I wrote the "EDIT: ...".

I want the menu to open by mouseover, but then it is not usefull, that the links gets activated when you click it. Users who do not know the mouseover-effect click first...

So you can not help me with this?

please delete the javascript:void(0) on your parent links, to see if it solve the issue
I have tested when I changed the script and it worked ! I don't know why it does not work anymore
