could you test something for me ? (I can't reproduce this issue by my side)
In the file "modules/mod_maximenuck/mod_maximenuck.php" line 186, delete or commment this line :

and test without mootools effect to see if the menu is working well in IE7-9

It fixes the issue in IE8 and IE9 but IE7 still has the problem.

(have you seen that someone want to add a tax on IE7 ? )

It depends on the "kind" of page you're working.

In fact I hate to spend time making things work with IE (9 inclusive)
