Overflow detection and mootools problem

Overflow detection and mootools problem was created by infogate

Hello

I want to disable mootools to my website as causes a lot of conflicts.
The problem is that when i do so the "Overflow detection" of the CK maxi menu stops to work and that causes a big problem.
Is there a solution about that or mootools are critical part of the module?
Thank you in advance.

Hi
since long Maximenu CK does not rely anymore on Mootools
Mootools is not loaded by default in Joomla 3 and Maximenu CK works :)

Please give me the url of your page where I can see the problem, overflow detection activated

The website is info-gate.gr
I use an older version Maximenu CK 8.2.3. and Joomla 3.8.5.

If the latest version is not using mootools then i will buy and replace it with the latest version.

I am sorry to say that my problem is not solved.

I bought the latest menu "Maximenu CK Pro" and found out that Overflow detection is not working when mootools are disabled.
I use this free plugin to totally disable mootools as they cause major problems.

extensions.joomla.org/extension/mootools-enabler-disabler/

I am really dissapointed about that as i had no other reason to buy the latest version.
To test the module i created a clone of my eshop here --> infogate.gr and just disabled mootools, updated joomla to 3.10.0 and added the new menu version.
The style is messed up but that is not my main problem as mentioned before.

I understand but your version was 5 years old ! you can not expect having your website working correctly if you stay with that

and the problem is confirmed because I think that you have other extensions that are old and rely on Mootools
Example

Uncaught ReferenceError: Browser is not defined
<anonymous> infogate.gr/components/com_roksprocket/a...ootools-mobile.js:20
<anonymous> infogate.gr/components/com_roksprocket/a...ootools-mobile.js:36
mootools-mobile.js:20:1

you have multiple error messages in your console that affecting your page and that makes the script of Maximenu CK unable to work
the problem is not that Maximenu CK does not work and needs Mootools (because this is false), the problem is that other extensions need Mootools and they are rendering some JS errors. These errors are breaking preventing other scripts to work, like Maximenu CK

you must fix the JS error in the web console
Hope it helps
