maximenu and virtuemart

I bought a maximum of ck.
I want to try to use it with virtuemart.
I set it according to the picture and there is a picture next to the category.
If I understand correctly, the image should appear in the menu and not.

if you want to use other images than the ones from the Virtuemart categories. For example, add an image with the suffix that you have setup :
image_mini.jpg >> this image will be used in the menu
image.jpg >> is the image that will be used in the VM component

you can style the menu using the interface, this shall work
you can also use your own css code in your template if your prefer

can I somehow set the size and other parameters of the image from virtuemart in styles in the maximum ?. That's what I had in mind, the other styles in the component are clear to me.

I would suggest to create your images "_mini" with the correct dimensions
else if needed, you must use some css to manage that
