what you could do is to use a joomla menu in which you include a module calling another maximenu module which have the VM activated. Doing this you can manage your menu like you want

now the last update of maximenu and the upadte of the Virtuemart patch fixes this, you can use the VM menu and another maximenu on the same page.

I'd just bought the VM patch earlier before the new fix. I'd also paid for the Parameter Plugin and the Menu documentation. Can I have the new patch please?
