Menu Timed Blink

I am using Joomla 3.8.8 on Win 1o 64bit Platform with G5 Helium Template and Maximenu CK.

My Menu contains 9 Menu Names.
I need a procedure to create a Timed Blink on one particular Menu (NewsFlash) to attract the attention of viewers for say 30 seconds, perhaps adjustable.

I am not well versed with CSS of HTML - I am a novice in these areas.

I don't think that your request is relative to maximenu ...
you can find some tutos on the net about how to blink in CSS, for example

then in your menu item edition you can add it the css class, in this example : "blink_me"

It has been stated that a Menu Blink is not a good thing as it annoys viewers.
Is it then possible to change the Back Colour or the Text Color of a Individual Menu Name.
Can you please advise the procedure for this.

to give an individual color you can use maximenu params and edit your menu item. You will get some additional options where you can style the item

I cannot see those Parameters within the Maximenu CK that has been added to my Site.
Can you please Confirm; is that function contained in the Parameters Package which it seems I would need to Purchase, before proceeding.
I await your answer to this question, as I have no desire, as an Aged Pensioner, to spend money unnecessarily.

yes I talk about the Params that is a paid addon. You can still do it using your own CSS rules, by targetting each menu item with its css class like "itemXX" where XX is the menu item ID
