Good morning Cédric,
1.
I checked the "menu link" tab and there are no settings selsected:
2. Obviously I am not smart enough to understand what you mean.
Thats why I tried to do it, like you showed it in your youtube video Manage your Joomla! menu with Maximenu cK (min. 2:36 - 2:59)
Here are my screenshots of what I changed:
But the result is again like before:
I am so sorry that you have these problems with me.
Is there another video where I can see what to do?
Best regards
Kurt

1/ as I'm trying to explain (may be in a bad way ), the fact is that you are loading a css theme (default) which has some CSS rules in it. To use the maximenu params interface and see the styles in it, you shall use the theme "blank" and use the interface to style your menu. You can load a "preset" to get a predefined style that will be injected into the interface
in the interface you can style the moving cursor in the "fancy" tab.
The problem here is the theme, because this comes from an old version (I keep the themes feature for the designers and for backward compatibility). I you don't know how to use the CSS, then please use the interface and theme "blank"
2/ you module is loaded in a level 1 item. You must load it into a submenu, this means that you must go in your joomla menu manager, create a new item under "login" like this
- login (level 1 : seaprator type item, no module)
|-- login module (level 2 : separator item with login module loaded)
in the interface you can style the moving cursor in the "fancy" tab.
