Having a nightmare getting anything to work !

I am using a Yootheme template which i have my suspicions about to start with as i cant use the "menu" position for the Maximenu module but the maximenu doesnt appear to load changes quickly if at all, some of the positions are clearly correct and showing correctly on the standard menu but they arent in Maximenu.
Is there cache issues with the module?
Menu links are just showing in the wrong places and its really frustrating, i havent been able to setup columns at all which was the main reason i bought this.

Most mystifying is that i have both the standard template menu in the menu position and the maximenu one udner it (just for comparison) both are set to display the same menu - the maximenu one is showing menu items that are disabled and totally different to the one above it - how can this happen ?!

actually on your website I see the maximenu working. right ? I see exactly the same items in both menus

ok i had "virtuemart" on in the "third party extensions" that has fixed the change in the menu - trying to battle with columns now !

the battle with columns shall not be to hard, as you have maximenu params, look at the doc included in the package

ps : using the latest versions, you can also simply use hte new interface "menu structure" from the module

where will i find this in the module please?
