strange because I have just updated to 2.4.0 and the folder is still in "media" ...

You can probably put in the code something that can check if the folder /media/ exists and if its not, than change the path to /images/

and replace it with your own path

I have to check by my side from which setting this could be coming

you can use the styles options of the module to give the correct size according to your images
