Auto Archiving Images/slides

I have thought about your request but I will be stopped by the multilanguage issue that make each date different. I have first to spend time to test this, and I can't tell you that I will do this next week.

Not sure what you mean by the multi-language date thing. If it is the format you are on about then people will see this when they use DAY-MON-YEAR or MON-DAY-YEAR etc.

Did a quick search earlier and came across this thread from a few years ago where someone wanted exactly what I need. But, Joomla 1.5 and not sure how it would fit in now but may give you an idea.

I was about to buy the them pack for your Slideshow as there is one in there I like but the start and end dates for each image is far more important for me!

now the problem is more complex than it seems because my system is not only based on the joomla native fields. I can't use JHTML calendar.

Well I do hope you or someone else can come up with something. Like I said earlier Squiz use it already so I will keep on searching and see what I can find.

Have you taken a 'serious' look at this option yet?

If you don't think it will ever be looked at please let me know and I won't hassle you any more about it and seek a fix elsewhere. I still believe strongly that it is a feature that a lot of people would utilise. I mean, why would you want to have to go and keep removing images manually etc?
