unfortunately I have not yet found a way to change the image in the thumbnail view. When you click on the image, you are immediately taken to the directory of the current image, when you select and save it, nothing changes in the thumbnail view - the old image remains. To do it all over again seems to me to be an unjustified effort.

now if you don't manage to do that, then simply use another image name and your problem will be solved
but I still keep my original answer about the fact that this is only a cache issue for the main image, because Slideshow CK does not store the images in another place (except for the thumb as explained)
