Updating to version 2
Gosh, I have a slideshow in most of my articles, because I am using this method of displaying photos in them. Therefore, I must have about 500 modules all together needing to be updated. Fortunately, they are still working, though effectively the graphic options have changed. I don't suppose there is any way to automate or facilitate the updating of these multiple modules?
Also, I have a problem. When I tried to edit the style in the options section, I got the error message:
1146 Table 'europe_j.#__slideshowck_styles' doesn't exist

Hi
you can read this
forum.joomlack.fr/index.php/15-slideshow...lideshow-ck-v1-to-v2
if really needed you can install the 1.4.64 over the 2.0.0 to downgrade (never uninstall it or you will loose everything)
make a backup of your website before anything
I have spent a lot of time to make the 2.0.0 the most compatible as possible with routines to update the needed data and a legacy code to work with the v1 settings
Unfortunately, it needed a lot of changes (that is also why I released a V2) and few things are very difficult to do
I suggest you to downgrade, then create a working copy of your website where you can update to the V2, follow the steps and check that all is ok before doing it on the live website.
As you have 500 modules ... you shall better validate before going live
