How to update Slideshow CK V1 to V2

if you had Params previously, you must install the Pro version
When this is done, and your slideshows working correctly, then you can uninstall the Params (only the slideshow ck params plugin)

- Articles
- Flickr
- Folder
- Google
- Instagram
- system - SlideshowCK

Which, if any, of these should also be disabled?

I updated to V2 a few weeks ago, but now find I being told of further updates, but find they will not update. I get the following error message

Slideshow CK Light cannot be installed over Slideshow CK Pro. Please install Slideshow CK Pro. To downgrade, please first uninstall Slideshow CK Pro. Read more
Before updating ensure that the update is compatible with your Joomla! installation.
You are strongly advised to make a backup of your installation before you start updating.

So far as I can tell, I installed Slideshow CK Pro as documented above, although the Update screen refers to Slideshow CK (no mention of Pro). I have Slideshow CK V2.1.0 and Sldieshow CK V1.2.8

to update the pro extensions you must use the licence code

Else you can install it manually, you must download the pro version from your account by login on joomlack.fr >> my orders

Still having problems i'm afraid.
I now have the Extension Manager installed and have added my. licence code.
I still have Plugin Slideshow CK Params installed, but have disabled all the plugins as suggested in the above. (I get an error message saying I cannot update with CK Params installed, but the update to Version 2 only refers to disabling plugins and not uninstall.
I realise I can probably update manually, but I would like to get the automatic update to work.
I note that the Joomla:update page shows Slideshow CK, but no reference to Pro. Am I trying to update the wrong extension?
Also, when I try and update using the option in Extension Manager CK I also get a failure message.
