Hi CEd,
Super user access works, but that is the point: my clients do not have - and I do not want them to have - super user access, they only have a limited version of 'Publisher' access and I have set up a special user group called 'FrontEditor' for this purpose. but I have allowed them to edit SlideshowCK.
If they log in and edit articles can upload images (max 75kb) into the site or select from existing images in the image folders.
BUT - if they attempt to add images in the SlideshowCK module they cannot do so and get the error messages I mentioned earlier.
I have set you up as a 'FrontEditor' user so that you can log in and try this for yourself. From the home page you will see a login menu at the very bottom. Once logged in, please choose 'Edit photo gallery' from the Editor menu which appears expanded at the bottom and also is added to the main menu at the top. Scroll down below the instructions I have written for my clients and you will be able to edit the SlideshowCK module.
The details are, for your eyes only:
Part of the message is hidden for the guests. Please log in or register to see it.
The website URL is a copy of the 'real' site which I am using for test purposes.
Thank you.

Hi,
Sorry, in previous post I said "Once logged in, please choose 'Edit photo gallery' from the Editor menu which appears expanded at the bottom and also is added to the main menu at the top. Scroll down below the instructions I have written for my clients and you will be able to edit the SlideshowCK module."
It's near the bottom of the Editor menu.
Gillian

Remind me in few days if I don't come back to you

Thank you. I will do that.
Adding an image to an article is not a problem, just in SlideshowCK, so I don't think it's a Joomla issue.
Kind regards,
Gillian
