I did that (except I'm using list-type: disc instead of an image). I put it into every Custom CSS box in the menu section. It works when I add it in Firebug, but seems to have no effect in the boxes. Here's what I put in:
ul.menu li li {
list-type: disc;
}
Thanks,
Matt

I can do that, of course. But my question was -- do the Custom CSS boxes not work, so I should ignore them? It seems by your response that you are saying that they do not? Or is there some trick to using them that I have missed?
This is a very minor question about an amazing piece of software that I am crazy about and could not live without, and is not intended as any sort of criticism. I am very grateful and appreciative of all of your hard work.
Thanks,
Matt

yes they work, for the selected blockdo the Custom CSS boxes not work
I think, that why I suggested to use the custom.css because you already have a line of code to put inOr is there some trick to using them that I have missed?
