templateDetails.xml
Just a query here...
Is there any particular reason that template creator specifies every file in the templateDetails.xml file?
As far as I am aware, you do not need to specify every file in the /css or the /images folder- specifying the folder itself is sufficient, and every file in that folder will be copied to the template directory when the template is being installed.
Is there any way to prevent this happening in future versions of template creator?
The reason I am asking is that quite often, I use multiple images for backgrounds - quite often a top image, a bottom image and a repeat background image.
To do this, I either use a custom.css file or I simply do not choose a background for the wrapper and manually insert the code into the 'custom css' text box.
I then have to modify the templatedetails.xml file to ensure the new images are installed.
If the individual files were not named, and just the folders, then I would not have to go through this stage.

Hi
the reason is because the PHP code loops through all files and then add it as a line into the XML
I agree that if you do it manually you can use "folder", and I understand your request.
I will see to add to my (long) todolist

Not of much importance to be honest... more of a 'quality of life' thing, and I understand it being put on the back burner behind a LOT of more important issues
You must be getting annoyed with me by now... finding issues and making requests, bit I just gotta say that I REALLY like Template Creator CK and just want it to be perfect

Hmmm, i wonder, when a template has made with Template Creator CK
I see only a standard default templateDetails.xml
How we can add more options like background color, text color, etc etc?
i only see 6 options whiche are not important:
logolink
logotitle
logodescription
usecsspie
useresponsive
usebootstrap
I hope that we dont have to write that by hand?????
i mean these settings:
<config>
<fields name="params">
<fieldset name="advanced">
</fieldset>
</fields>
</config>

Hi
you can not add an option
if you want to change the colors you must do it in the template creator interface
