Vertical menu is not shown as in the custom area

Hello forum,
I'm using TC CK 4.0.15 and Joomla 3.9.1.
I have to create a template in LCARS (Star Trek)-style. Now my question...
Can anyone help me? The menu is one of the most important things at this style,
But it looks in editor mode completely different as in the frontend (see the attachments)
I have no idea what it could be... :S

I'm thankfull for any help!

ok, go in your module advanced options >> menu suffix >> add " menu" (with a blank space at start)

OMG - I'm real stupid... GOT IT! you meaned the Menu - Modul :silly:
The menu suffix entry was captured by an older theme, made by Artisteer. It was "art-menu". After changing into " menu" it works!

ok, you must go in your Modules Manager, then edit the "menu" module that you have published in the left column, the one that has not the desired rendering. In this module you will see the advanced options tab
