For a quick overview of accessibility compliance these checkers will do an OK job, but, honestly, from everything I've read, the way the accessibility gurus do it is manually. So they have a bunch of people sitting in front of computers going through websites and seeing where they fail (if they do).

In my use of these, I found that they all give slightly different results.

A good landing is one you can walk away from.
A great landing is one where you can reuse the aircraft!

everything looks correct using these 3 tools
I have also fixed the problem with the submen that now closes when goes out of maximenu

for info I have also added the Userway plugin on wcag.ced1870.fr
if you want to check with it, by my side everthing looks correct

I was using the Userway plugin on some sites and extensions.joomla.org/extension/screen-reader/ on other sites. These are actually not a good solution from what I've read.

I have tested everything possible, it seems that the menu is now compliant with the accessibility rules (even if there is no aria tags)
