Like the shortcut option - great. I don't understand the comment about loosing the ability to close the sub-menu. If there are more than one upper level menu items with a sub-menu, are you saying that, if you open the first sub-menu, when you open the 2nd that the 1st one doesn't close?
A good landing is one you can walk away from.
A great landing is one where you can reuse the aircraft!

yes it closes that way, but if you come back (shift + tab) then going again on the logo does not close the submenu. It was working with only 1 submenu. Just a small thing that I have to check again

for the aria, I have seen them used anywhere, read that they are not needed, finally I don't know
How can I check that my website is WCAG AA compliant ?

For a quick overview of accessibility compliance these checkers will do an OK job, but, honestly, from everything I've read, the way the accessibility gurus do it is manually. So they have a bunch of people sitting in front of computers going through websites and seeing where they fail (if they do).

achecker.ca/checker/index.php

wave.webaim.org/

webaccessibility.com/

In my use of these, I found that they all give slightly different results.

I was using the Userway plugin on some sites and extensions.joomla.org/extension/screen-reader/ on other sites. These are actually not a good solution from what I've read.

I have tested everything possible, it seems that the menu is now compliant with the accessibility rules (even if there is no aria tags)
