I just can't get my head around understanding MaxiMenu.

1/ install maximenu
2/ create a menu items
3/ create a module Maximenu CK, and select your menu to show

that's it.

Seaparators are what causes issues. External URL work kind of, but always add a "#" to the end of the URL if if you leave the field blank, meaning, if a user clicks it, they're scrolled to the top of the page.

Oh yeah, adding MaxiMenu isn't the issue. It's configuring it. :-)

you shall know that the separators are the problem as this is not the first time that we discussed on this ;)

for maximenu, you shall explain me what is the problem in the configuration. If you leave it with the default options, it works like a dropdown menu without problem

Yep I remember the ongoing discussion and so avoid using separators. He claims it's doing the same thing while using External URLs. I can't check as we're avowed Apple haters! :-) I used Ext URLs on other jobs and clients reported they worked fine except clicking the external URL item jumps to the top of the home page (a "#" is inserted after the Home Page URL even if the field is left blank).

OK, let me revisit MaxiMenu. I like what it can do, I just haven't been able to wrangle it into the look I want. Because of its abilities and functionality I'd use it every time if I can get a handle on it. :-)
