Hi,

Thanks for that. I now have the submenus appearing. But I am still struggling to understand the setting up of columns etc.

We are using Joomla 1.5. We created columns using the separator link [col]. So:

Parent link[cols3]
-Childlink01
-Childlink02
-Childlink03
-Childlink04
-Childlink05
-Childlink06
[col]
-Childlink07
[col]
-Childlink09

Each [col] is a link separator.

If I use the plugin parameters "Make a new column" to "yes" and set a width of 250px then the columns don't come out correctly. I can see the value of the plugin when it comes to styling each column etc but the controlling of columns doesn't seem to work for me. I followed the instructions in the PDF that accompanied the plugin (page 16):

If you activate the columns without giving width property, they will not appear next to
one another as the parent container is too small. we must therefore give a width in px
to each column created (we define the parameters in the items 'colonne 1 ' and 'colonne
').

So if I edit the separator links, removing the syntax [col], renaming it to Column2 for example, and then setting the parameters "Make a new column" to "yes" and "set a width" to 250....it doesn't work!

This is why I'm finding it confusing. The module instructions say one thing and then the plugin instructions say another. The plugin instructions don't work for me. Can you please explain why ?

Thanks in advance
