Slide show, Purity iii and Joomla 3

Hi. I have used slideshow CK for a number of years now and am trying it out on the newest version of Joomla 3. I am also using Purity iii template and have a little issue. I am putting the slideshow in the position slideshow and for some reason it keeps aligning to the left. I have tried a couple of other slideshows (I way prefer yours over any that I have tried) and they seem to be ok and center on the page. Is there anything you can think of that I can do to rectify this as I would really like to stick with CK.

try to change the width from 1000px to "auto" in the module options

Will do but it will be later as I am at work at the moment.

Ok, I have done that the only problem is that it is now full screen width. I would prefer it to be the size of the image or at least have significant borders.
