Thanks for the great extension! Now having the same problem as olejan. Need to make one of the menu items always expanded. Is there any way to do so? Unfortunately my site is on local machine so I can't give the URL. Thank you in advance!

I've got a decision:

1) Put this code into your template

Code:

<?php if($this->countModules('template3')) : ?>
<script type="text/javascript">
jQuery(document).ready(function($){
 $('#item-xxx a').not('.open').parent().children('.content_1').css('height', 'auto').parent().children('a').addClass('open');
  });
   </script>
<?php endif; ?>

where item-xxx is an item which you want to be opened in frontpage

2) Make changes to templateDetails.xml, adding

Code:

<position>template3</position>

3) Create dummy module with any HTML code and put it to position "template3"
4) Assign module to homepage only
