Slideshow CK Autoload from article category slow

Just both the Slideshow CK parameter package and testing it with Autoload from category of articles, but it never comes back - slider is shown empty and it is clocking forever.

My setting is:


Load article: First image in the content
Mode: Normal
Featured Articles: Only
Category: All Categories
Child Category: Exclude
Order By: Create Date Descending

Tested BT content slider that does the same thing, and it works, but looks ugly.
This one appears to be disfunctional which is pity, because it really looks nice. If I can combine their functionality and your look, it would be perfect.

I am testing this before implementation on my local Linux installation. Tried with different categories with the same result. Looks like it is getting choked when it can't figure out the picture in the article. This feature needs some serious work. Decided not to use it.
