Links are not saved

Hello, When I try and edit the Slides Manager and add a link it allows me to add a link, but then when I save it does not update and the frontend text is not linked. When I go back into the module it is not displaying the link option and I click it again and the link is displayed but it does not appear to be active?

This is a development site being used to update Joomla from an older 3.8 release, the live version is here:

www.theastrologyroom.com/

As you can see the slider is different with the live site having a larger title and also being hyperlinked to the article.

please clear your browser cache, because by my side both sliders look the same and the links are working on both ...
