Content plugins not working

I have a site on Joomla 5.2.5 on php 8.2 with the latest version of page builder and on a template creator template.

I am using Edocman (the latest version) on the site and when I add the shortcode into a page builder article text element
{edocmanlink 1}, the entire article breaks and does not show up on the page preview.mydigihearth.com/our-story

When I try to put it in a module and turn on Activate content plugins, I can see the code I typed but the plugin does not work.

The edocman developers are looking at their code for me however, I want to know how I can turn on Activate Content Plugin in normal articles using the page builder and/or if I am doing it wrong.

Should I be entering the shortcode a different way when using pagebuilder generally for othe extensions.

I have used shortcodes for article custom fields in the past successfully in page builder CK so I am not sure why it doesn't work on all shortcodes

Page Builder CK does not manage this.
You must use the joomla articles (switch to page builder in the edition), then joomla manages this automatically

you say that it does not work in a module too, and other tags are working. For me this is not related to Page Builder CK
just try in a normal article, without page builder loaded, to see if it works
