Hi Ced,
I want to display a few newly created articles in a simple way in a blog.
I have a “readmore” in all articles, but I want to display the complete articles of the blog without “readmore”.
Of course the “readmore ”s should remain in the articles,
but I would like to have an overview of the new articles at a glance,
that would be easier for those who have to evaluate the articles.
In the meantime, I'll see if I can find an idea on the net...
Kind regards,
Heino

Hi
if you don't want it in the blog addon, you can hide it in the options
Blog layout >> list of items >> click on the eye of "link"

Yes, sometimes the simple things are not easy.
I want to create a 2nd blog.
Use some articles from any category,
In this blog the complete articles should be visible, not shortened by “readmore”.
I don't want to change the original articles,
so I am looking for a “bypass” of the “readmore” for this special blog.
It may be that this seems unusual,
it is intended to provide a one-page overview of selected articles in full length, for administrative use.
Regards,
Heino

not sure but, if you don't put any readmore section in your articles, then
- 1st blog use the text length option to cut your article content
- 2nd blog set the text length to 0, it should not cut it at all
you can try that

Hi Ced,
I am aware of your suggestion.
If I wanted to convert in general, I would probably do it this way. But it's more for internal use and there's no need to do pull-ups.
It could have been that you know an easy way to “bypass” the “readmore”.
I'll see what I can find on the net...
Best wishes and have a nice weekend!
