Suddenly coding has appeared above text in an article which I can't remove.

Could you advise as to how I can resolve this please?

Hi
first you shall revert your article to a previous version using the joomla versioning (native feature)
then check the "text filter" setting in yoru website config for the usergroup that has edited the article, you must set the whitelist with the "style" tag, or simply set the filter to none
for info when you save an article with the undesired rights/filter, you shall have a red notice at the top of the article, before saving, that alerts you on the problem
