I want to double check I am taking the correct steps in updating PageBuilder properly after migrating to J4:
1 - migrate to J4
2 - install PageBuilder for J4
When I do the above I get this error and the extension is not updated:
JInstaller: :Install: Error SQL Duplicate column name 'modified'
Extension installation aborted.
However, if I remove PageBuilder for 3 and then install PageBuilder for 4 everything is fine - the only problem being if I don't intentionally "not" uninstall PageBuilder module, all my PageBuilder modules disappear.

Hi
Page Builder CK has no version joomla3 / joomla4
the same version works on both versions of joomla
so you shall update Page Builder Ck to the latest version, then you can update your joomla if you want
Of course if you uninstall it, all modules are removed, this is how joomla works because this routine is managed by joomla itself

I'm not sure how I got confused about there being a J3 and J4 version.
I've made a video showing what is happening when I migrate to J4

try to remove this folder with FTP
\administrator\components\com_pagebuilderck\sql\updates
then install the update of PBCK (without uninstall) and tell me if it works

Sorry, no, that didn't work. I still get the error:
JInstaller: :Install: Error SQL Duplicate column name 'modified'
Extension installation aborted.

can you enable the debug in joomla to see if you get a more useful message than that ?
what is the version of PBCK installed on your website, before you try to update ?
