Access Rights to Elements

This is just a question, not an issue
In Page Builder Elements you can set access rights for each user group. By default, Page Builder gives all users access to ' View in Front End' and 'Edit'. (see screenshot).
What does the 'EDIT' access give. It does not allow these user the edit the content. So I am not sure what this is. Could you explain?

Thanks for answer. I am a little surprised that the default option for all user groups is set to Edit = yes. I don't see where the default can be set to No?

by default you have to setup the rights on the article itself
if the user have the right to edit the article, then it shall have the right to edit the content (behavior by default, this is why it is checked by default)
there is a difference between "edit the article" and "edit/modify a row in the content"
