Direct links to tabs

Hi CED
Can I check with you regarding direct links to tabs.
I have created a bunch of tabs and set up direct links to all tabs.
What I am finding is that it is not working the way I thought it would.
Before a link will jump to the correct tab, the link on the default tab must be clicked first, then the other links will work.
It appears you can't jump from link to link without first returning to the default tab.
I can provide access and url details if you can check please

If I click on the tab 5-8 :
- the tab is active
- all other tab can be clicked
the only one that can not be clicked is the 5-8, because it is already active
