This button shows everything at once
"Caption attached to the image" if there is something entered, and if the field is empty, it shows the title of the article .

the text depends on the title, because you can write the caption like this

title::text

they are separated by "::". If you omit it, then you have only a title. That is why if you switch the text option ON, it will not show anything
I have tested with a caption like the one above, if I enable the text option and not the title, it works
