Hi
for info, since a recent modification in the code of joomla, the module content is limited to 65535 bytes length (in the code librairies\src\table\module)
the database modification has no more effect on this situation

Solution :
1/ create the content in a page (Page Builder CK > pages)
2/ Use a custom html module and load the page using a shortcode : {pagebuilderck XX} where XX is the page ID

(or limit your module content to a lower length)

Hope it helps

I'm now getting that same error that occured when params was set to text.

I see the setting is: 16 params mediumtext utf8mb4_unicode_ci No None

And a simple no extra stuff slideshow of 100 smallish pix has started to complain when I update a current filename, with this:
Error
Save failed with the following error: The content exceeds allowed limits
It's been working fine for EVER.

There was a recent Joomla update.
ck 2.2.2
j3.9.24 Stable [ Amani ] 12-January-2021 15:00 GMT

Thanks in advance. I'm over at LOGIN.CL visit if you wish

Save failed with the following error: The content exceeds allowed limits"

Greetings.

Hi
this is NOT a Page Builder CK issue, this is limited by the joomla database field that stores the module data

Please use the method here (tag in the module to load a page)
forum.joomlack.fr/index.php/page-builder...module?start=0#52458

In the Page Builder CK pages you can store more data
