Open Street Map errors

Just got a big bill from Google for supposedly using too many resources - I can't see it with my few sites, but hard to argue with the giant....
So decided to start converting all the sites to Open Street Map. However, I'm experiencing 3 problems.
1. I'm getting a popup error when opening the module (see attachment). The module still works OK by and large despite this.
2. The marker is not showing on the map unless I enter something in the marker section. Perhaps this is normal for OSM, I'm just used to Google Maps showing a marker regardless.
3. The zoom level doesn't work as expected. In the back end preview, I changed the default 8 to 14 (my common scale) and the preview shows it. However, on the front end, it still looks like it's showing 8.

I use JCE exclusively. If I select Tiny MCE in Global Configuration, then try again, I get no error. If I then change back to JCE, the error reappears.
