Image gallery settings

I am really liking this add-on the more I use it, however, I'm struggling to get the whole caption and image-effect thing working.

I installed, and activated image-effectCK. I then assigned a class in the CSS Class field (in Image Gallery). I found that "Use caption" needs to be set to yes.

However, I don't know how to add text (title and description) to add to the effect. Adding text to the Title field and the content area merely show it all the time over the top of the image (and difficult to style as CSS comes from the template). How do we use image effect correctly? I don't have params for this extension. Thanks.

for the title and description, I don't really understand your request. There is a title field where you can set the caption, if you want to put a description you can set it like this in the title field (separated by : CEd

If I add My title::My description in the Title field (between the image URLs I'm assuming you're talking about), the text shows on the image before the mouseover (which is expected), but doesn't change when the image is moused over. And, as you see from the attachment, the text which does display is exactly like I added, including the ::.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

this is my bad, I was focused on the single image item and not on the gallery. So you don't need to use the "::" here because you have an editor to write the description

I have reproduced the issue by my side. I will work on that

thank you for your help and tests for this problem, I have now updated Image Effect CK and the Gallery addon of Page Builder CK to fix this issue
