Icons as Links

Hello, When using CK builder, I can't figure out how to make the icons into links. For example, if I have an icon and text, I would want both to function as a clickable area, not just the text.
OR - can you provide some information on how to make a whole row a clickable area. I fine using css and html on a normal page, but when it's broken down within CK builder, I get a little lost.

if you are fine using CSS, then you can add a CSS class on the elements where you want to do that
then place a link in your text and put this link in absolute to cover the whole element over it
so that you will have a clickable area
